So my BF noticed last weekend that my front tire was put on backwards. You would think the guy that puts your tire on would notice this right??? Anyways I've already put a bunch of miles on it but my BF wanted to turn it around so I let him, now its bouncy & doesn't turn quite as smooth. I will be putting it back on the "wrong" way seeing as I don't quite need a new one yet. :arggh:

you may want to watch the wet roads with it the wrong way. you could try driving it a few miles to see if it straighten's out.

yeah, I would put it back on backwards and then take it back to the place that put it on and get them to fix it and re-balance it...just hope they believe you

Put it back on backwards and its riding normal. Not sure if I'm up to fighting with the dealership or not

I agree with muds if you're gonna keep it backwards, stay outta the rain or wet roads...it probably just needs to be rebalanced and it would ride smoothly again (in the correct direction)

Girley,

Good luck with that. I would personally bring it to the dealership and make them either rebalance or get you a new tire. I also would be careful with wet roads. Good luck!

With it run backward the reason why it bumps and dont turn as well when it was spun around is that is has probably cupped in the wrong way so the only way to fix it is to replace it. so Girly ride on backwards  but becarefull not to let it slip out from under ya...LOL..

I bought a new tire before I left for Miami so I've washed my hands of that problem

Did the dealer help pay for it? They should def be held accountable if it was there fault.

I agree yuou should have said something to the dealer cuz next time someone takes a bike there and it happens again they might not be so lucky but if the dealer would have know about it he might have had a meeting for everyone to show how a tire goes on a bike but then again ..... you coulod have told them and it did no good so..... I'm just glade you got it fixed if it's not right forsure fix it like it was said before up the page better to be safe........ :drunk:
